INTERNATIONAL NECATIBEY EDUCATION AND SOCIAL SCIENCES RESEARCH CONGRESS
Distinguished Scientists, Researchers and Educators,
International Necatibey Education and Social Sciences Research Congress (INESCR2023) will be held at Necatibey Faculty of Education, Balıkesir University, Turkey on 26-28 October 2023 in collaboration with University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Vilniaus Kolegija, Tashkent State University of Oriental Studies, Comrat State University, and “1 Decembrie 1918” University of Alba Iulia.
Necatibey Faculty of Education started its educational activities in 1910 under the name “Karesi Darülmuallimin”. In 1932, it was relocated to its current building, which was initiated during Mustafa Necati Bey’s Ministry of National Education. From that date onwards, it continued to educate teachers under the names ‘Necati Teacher School’, ‘Necati Education Institute’, and ‘Necatibey Higher Teacher School’. In 1982, with the establishment of the Higher Education Institution, it became affiliated with Uludağ University and took the name Necatibey Faculty of Education. Since 1992, it has been conducting its educational activities in affiliation with Balıkesir University.
The main theme of INESCR2023 is “Teacher Training in the 21st Century”. We welcome papers related to the following topics:
- Teacher Training Programs and Models
- Digitalizing in Teacher Training and Distance Education
- Contemporary Approaches in Teacher Education
- Mentorship in Teacher Education
- 21st Century Expectations in Teacher Education
- Performance Assessment in Teacher Education
- Teacher Education in the 100th Year of the Republic of Turkey
- Teacher Training in Field Education
The papers that are presented orally at the congress will be published online in the Book of Abstracts and in the Book of Proceedings with an ISBN. Additionally, depending on the preference of the presenters, the papers that are not published in the Book of Proceedings may be published in Necatibey Faculty of Education Electronic Journal of Science & Mathematics Education 
or Balikesir University the Journal of Social Sciences Institute after the review process
Our keynote speakers are Prof. Dr. Kathy Cabe Trundle from Utah State University, Dr. Xiaojing Kou from Indiana University, Dr. Lukáš Rokos from University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice, Dr. Uwe Krause from Fonty University, and Prof. Dr. Erdal Toprakçı from Ege University. Within the scope of INESCR2023, the workshops entitled “Measuring the 21st Century Skills”, “Game Friendly Teacher”, “Building Bridges with eTwinning”, and “Data Analysis through R for Educators” will also be held.
As we approach the excitement of the 100th anniversary of the establishment of our Republic, we, as Necatibey Faculty of Education, would be honored to have esteemed scientists, researchers, and educators among us. We look forward to your participation and contributions to our congress and wish you success in your endeavors.
